For all professional liability policies quoted on or after July 24, 2025, TLI is pleased to announce a number of changes and enhancements made to the coverage it provides to its members.  The below is a summary of the substantive changes to each policy.  However, please refer to the policy forms, which can be found on our website, and any endorsements for a more complete understanding of the applicable coverage.   

TLI Premier Policy Form Changes 

In general, the Premier Policy (formerly known as the Regular Policy) provides more comprehensive legal malpractice insurance coverage than the Essential Policy (formerly known as the Basic Policy). A comparison of the Premier and Essential Policies can be found here.  The changes to the Premier Policy are also more extensive than those to the Essential Policy.
