Richard joined the TLI underwriting team in 2026.  He was previously working in the Estate and Trust department for a Big 4 bank.  He holds active licenses in the FINRA Series 65 and SIE, as well as for Texas Life and Health.

Richard is a Texas native, growing up in the San Antonio area. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in finance. While in college, Richard was a part of many student organizations, such as the Financial Planning Society as well as McCombs Success Scholars.

When not in the office, he can be found outside either on a hike or fishing in the many waters of Texas.
