TLI celebrated its first 40 years in business this year and is still going strong as the only insurance company in Texas owned by the lawyers it insures. Claims against TLI insureds have declined in recent years producing strong financial results for TLI and its members. In recognition of that success, on December 13, 2019, TLI’s Board of Directors declared the 23rd consecutive policyholder distribution for 2019 in the amount of $4,500,000. TLI has now returned $58,800,000 to it’s member insureds since 1997!
