TLIE Loss Prevention Programs
Texas Lawyers' Insurance Exchange is committed to helping attorneys avoid legal malpratice claims and grievance complaints. In 1997, TLIE created a Risk Management Department to handle all of our risk management and loss prevention activities, including seminars, newsletters, direct consultations, videotapes and research assistance on risk management issues.
TLIE's online newsletter, TLIE Legal Malpractice Advisory, which addresses current legal malpractice and ethics issues and offers practical tips for avoiding claims and grievance complaints. The newsletter emphasizes loss prevention articles, in addition to news of TLIE activities or announcements. TLIE's Director of Risk Management, Jett Hanna, is the editor of the Advisory which has been published since 1982.
