TLIE Gives Back 25 Years in a Row
TLIE NewsTexas Lawyers’ Insurance Exchange is the only insurance company in Texas that is owned by the lawyers and judges that it insures. And as a member-owned company, TLIE gives money back to its insureds in years when TLIE’s claims experience is favorable.
Over the past several years, fewer and fewer claims have been made against TLIE’s insureds. Based on those positive results, TLIE’s Board of Directors declared a policyholder distribution in the amount of $3,500,000 on December 17, 2021. The amount of each insured’s distribution is based on the amount of insurance premium paid by the insured.
TLIE has now returned a total of $69,300,000 to its insureds over the past 25 years. TLIE has now been serving Texas lawyers for over 42 years, and we are proud to continue our long history of providing exceptional malpractice insurance and unrivaled customer service.
