Continuing Education (CLE)

TLI Insureds can take CLE for FREE. TLI insureds can email info@tlie.org or rskmgmt@tlie.org for a coupon code that will reduce the cost of your shopping cart to zero.

Attorneys who are not insureds can still take the CLE for a nominal fee.

NOTE: By clicking the button below, you will be redirected to the Learn Upon platform.  Once there, go to Explore Courses. From there, select the courses you want by clicking Add. Once done, click on Shopping Cart then Proceed to Cart.

You will then be prompted to log in. If you do not have credentials already, you can create your credentials under Create an Account. Please note this login is separate from your TLI account credentials.  Please use New Customer when getting your first course, even if you are an “old” TLI customer. The account you will set up is a personal one, and you can create a new password.

At check out, you will see a field on the bottom left to enter a “Coupon code.” Enter the code provided to reduce the price of the CLE to $0. Then click Sign Up and confirm your order.

TLI Insureds will receive a 3% discount for firms that have an average number of TLI provided CLE hours (per attorney) between .75-1.25 hours. Firms with an average number of CLE hours exceeding 1.25 per attorney receive a 5% premium credit.   Please note that this discount does not apply to the niche Essential policies (New Attorney, Part-Time and Referral Service) or the Judge policy. Additionally, the discount does not apply to premium paid for excess policies or for limits in excess of $5 million. For questions about discount eligibility, email info@tlie.org.

We repeat courses with new course numbers annually in some cases. If you haven’t taken this year’s version, you can get credit for taking a course with the same number as in the past. We review the content, and post revised information with the course.

TLI offers in person CLEs to its member law firms, bar and lawyer association groups, inns of court, and law schools.  We offer CLE on a variety of ethics and best practices issues, as well as training for non-lawyer staff to help a firm ensure that their non-lawyer staff are in compliance with the lawyer’s ethical duties and responsibilities.
