TLIE celebrated its first 40 years in business this year and is still going strong as the only insurance company in Texas owned by the lawyers it insures. Claims against TLIE insureds have declined in recent years producing strong financial results for TLIE and its members. In recognition of that success, on December 13, 2019, TLIE’s Board of Directors declared the 23rd consecutive policyholder distribution for 2019 in the amount of $4,500,000. TLIE has now returned $58,800,000 to it’s member insureds since 1997!
